Update on Dr. Pete

Dear Matthew 10 Family,

Our God is good! I am not surprised, yet very thankful to share with you that Dr. Pete's surgery was successful. The doctors were able to remove most of the tumor on Tuesday.  Yesterday, Pete was already able to walk up and down stairs, and he even ate some meals.  He is happy but tired.  As of right now Pete is recovering well at MD Anderson in Houston, TX.

Preston and I were with Pete and Stephanie two days before the surgery and they were very peaceful.  Pete was (and is) confident that the Lord will fully heal him and bring good out of all of this.  We had a special time of prayer together and are standing on God's promises in Psalm 91!  Click below to see the update he provided last night! Thank you for lifting them all up in prayer and being such a strong community for the Sulacks during this time! While this first step in the process is finished, please continue praying with us over his complete healing!

Most people have others pray over them in a time like this, but Dr. Pete of course wanted to pray over his doctors before the surgery yesterday morning. To know him is to love him!!

I would like to end with this note for today: Matthew 10 International's mission, vision, and activity continue without interruption! Evangelism is continuing as scheduled, being led by our teams on the ground and our US Team of Evangelists, one of which is Dr. Pete's son, Eli Sulack.  Additionally, plans are well in motion to free our TENTH group of families out of slavery in the brick kilns of Pakistan.

We love you all and will continue to provide updates!

Eternally grateful,
Holly Scurry Todd

* Any funds raised above and beyond what the Sulacks need will go directly towards Matthew 10’s Where Needed Most, helping Pete fulfill the calling on his life and enabling him to do what he loves most — preaching the Gospel to the nations.
